Environmental evaluation (especially noise) and policy, auditory processing and experimental design. Emphasis in environmental evaluation has been on the impact of noise on community residents. A particular interested in noise as a stressor. Research in this area has been funded by Alberta Transport, Alberta Environment, the City of Calgary, Calgary Board of Education and National Sciences and Engineering Research Council. My work on policy has been almost entirely theoretical. Early auditory-processes research dealt with binaural localization. Recently I have been doing quantitative research with Theresa Kline.
