Interests

My interests are primarily in the area of law and psychology and my students are exclusively supervised in this area. A wide range of forensic topics, from memory to child witnesses to criminal matters are explored in our work. I am interested in applications of psychology in both criminal and civil law. Another area of professional practice is clinical neuropsychology and particularly its applications to law. I am a member of the NHL concussion tracking programme examining the cognitive effects of injuries. I have published widely on the effects of psychoactive drugs, both drugs of abuse and therapeutic medications. I regularly appear in courts across western Canada providing expert evidence.
