Do I Need Ethics Review?

In all likelihood the answer to the question 'Do I need ethics review?' is yes if your research involves human participants. See the handbook for more information.

Who to Apply To

All ethics applications for non-medical research should be made to the Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board, Chaired by Dr. Janice Dickin. It will then be sent out for review by one faculty member in our own department and will also be reviewed by Dr. Dickin.

Final ethics clearance of all undergraduate student research will be granted by the Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board (CFREB).
