Dr. Climie’s research interests focus on understanding the strengths in children, particularly those with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Learning Disorders (LD). She currently has a number of projects on the go, including a school-based intervention program looking at the benefits of daily physical activity for children with ADHD, and a focus on understanding teacher and public knowledge of ADHD and stigma. Broadly, she is interested in children with exceptional learning needs, resilience, school-based intervention, mental health in children and youth, cognitive development, executive functions, and bilingualism.
